Kelli Calabrese, MS, CSCS is the 2007 Denton County Personal Trainer of the Year and 2004 Personal Trainer of the Year as voted by Personal Fitness Professional Magazine. Kelli is an international presenter, author, personal trainer, lifestyle coach, spokesperson, women’s fitness expert and 21 year wellness professional. Kelli is the Editor of Personal Fitness Professional and Wellness & Fitness Entrepreneur magazines. She is the Author of Feminine, Firm & Fit – Building A Lean Strong Body in 12 Weeks. She was the lead fitness expert for eDiets and eFitness from 2000 – 2003 and remains a guest columnist.
At the age of 22 Kelli had completed 3 Science degrees including an Associates in Biology, Bachelors with High Honors in Exercise Physiology and a Masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology and Cardiac Rehabilitation. Since 1986, Kelli has acquired 23 fitness, nutrition, weight management and lifestyle consulting certifications. For 14 years she co-owned and operated a chain of 4 fitness centers (Excellence in Exercise) and 4 corporate centers with clients such as Calvin Klein Cosmetics, Nabisco and Beneficial Insurance. In 1991 Calabrese opened Xercise Institute, the first school for preparing candidates for the American Council on Exercise's Personal Training exams.
In 2000, Kelli began Calabrese Fitness Consulting LLC which focuses on reaching both trainers and consumers with her passion for fitness and wellness. She helps trainers grow prosperous careers through the, personal consultations, writing, editing, audio programs and at industry conferences. She reaches consumers through online training, phone coaching, magazines, TV, radio, audio programs, group training, books, boot camps, ipod workouts and live seminars.
She is on the advisory board for Purdue University, the Get America Fit Foundation, Exercise TV, Healthy Kids Catalog, The Body Mechanic, My Nutrition Store, Beauty & Lace and the Personal Trainer Business Association(www.PTBAonline.com) Kelli’s clothing is sponsored by Persona and her skin care is sponsored by Motion Medica.
Kelli is the International Master Trainer for Adventure Boot Camp and does the Coach Training to prepare qualified candidates to become Adventure Boot Camp Coaches. Jamie Roberts – Certified Adventure Boot Camp Coach – 8:20 AM – Argyle Intermediate School
Jamie Roberts holds a B.S. in Corporate Fitness and Wellness, and an M.S. in
Kinesiology, specializing in Exercise Physiology.
Her
background is in academic teaching, physical training and nutritional
counseling for optimal health, prevention of disease and the promotion of
quality of life. Jamie has organized and directed area all-sports
camps
for children 1st-8th grade, taught all-level P.E. as well as coached
volleyball, basketball, and track for Jr. High girls. As a certified fitness
instructor, Jamie and has led fitness classes and provided fitness
prescriptions for over 20+ years. She also helped start, co-organize and
arrange all material and activities for Cross Timbers Tumbling and
Cheerleading Summer Camps, as well as coached the Argyle Booster
Cheerleaders for 5 years. Through a grant at TWU, she has led and directed a
community walking program for diabetic individuals, teaching informative
workshops focusing on exercise and nutrition for the Type II diabetic.
Most
recently, Jamie has provided in-home personal training as well as
nutritional counseling to women and provides exercise and nutritional
consultations at MedSpa 407. Her heart is to connect mind, body and spirit,
empowering women to walk in confidence and strength.
Jamie assists with the 5:30 AM Cross Timbers location and is the coach for the 8:20 AM camp at Argyle Intermediate School beginning September 08.
Laci Wallace – Certified Adventure Boot Camp Coach –

Laci Wallace holds a B.S. with a double major in Psychology and Kinesiology and a minor in Sport Supervision and Administration from East Texas Baptist University (2006), and a M.S. in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sport and Exercise Psychology from the University of North Texas (2008).¨
Laci enjoys many outdoor sports, activities, and training for triathlons. She played Collegiate Softball at East Texas Baptist University (2004-2005) and International Softball with Coast to Coast Athletics in Belgium, Holland, and Hawaii (2002-2003). Currently, Laci is researching the psychophysiological changes during positive emotional imagery with female NCAA Division I athletes using Thought Technology Biofeedback equipment. Past research interest include, goal setting interventions with children ages 7-18, fear of success and goal orientation with ropes course as an intervention, contributing factors in developing somatization disorders, and stress management for health concerns.
Laci professional experience includes, American Red Cross Lifeguard, Head Lifeguard (2002-2006), American Red Cross Swim Instructor (2002-Current), physical training (2002-Current), Front Office Internship with CHL Shreveport Bossier Mudbug Hockey (2004-2005), academic teaching (2006-Current), performance enhancement (2006-Current), and Biofeedback therapy (2007-Current). She has worked with the Center for Psychosocial Health, Center for Biofeedback Therapy & The Center for Sport Psychology and Performance Excellence. Laci teaches weightlifting, swimming, walking, tennis, and general health courses at the University of North Texas. .

Brad Jurica – Certified Adventure Boot Camp Coach – 5:30 AM – Cross Timbers Community Church
Bradford Jurica, M.A. is a former Division I collegiate athlete, national presenter, author, and consultant for premier athletes around the country. He is one of the owners of Mental Training Inc., a performance enhancement-based consulting firm that serves as a catalyst to optimal performance by providing athletes, executives, and performers the tools and support to strengthen their mental skills and find their performance “zone” more often. Brad’s personal mission is to educate his client’s on the power of the mind by increasing awareness, facilitating cognitive growth, and being a positive agent for change as he helps each individual reach each of his/her health and fitness goals.
Brad also currently serves as an adjunct professor at four local colleges and universities throughout the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. He teaches classes on topics ranging from Intro to Psychology to Developmental, Health and Sport Psychology, as well as Abnormal Child Psychology. He holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in both philosophy and psychology with Honors, and has almost ten years of personal training experience. Starting in 2002, Brad began working with elite, professional and Olympic athletes back home in Southern California in a variety of capacities (i.e., consultant, personal and mental trainer). After receiving his Master’s of Arts degree in Psychology from San Diego State University in 2004, Brad moved to Texas to pursue his Ph.D. in counseling and sport psychology. He is currently finishing his doctorate at the University of North Texas conducting research on performance enhancement, anger and aggression, and moral behavior in sport.
Since coming to Texas, Brad has worked with both clinical and nonclinical populations holding workshops on topics such as: goal setting, team cohesion, anxiety management, progressive muscle relaxation (PMR), the importance of self-esteem, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, eating disorders, anger management, leadership development, mental toughness, and team building. He has several publications in both regional and national magazines as well as peer-reviewed journals throughout the country. Currently, he is a member of Divisions 18 (Public Service) and 47 (Sport and Exercise Psychology) of the American Psychological Association (APA) and has served as a Western and Southwest regional representative for the Association of Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) since 2003. In addition, he has been an active member of the Surfrider Foundation for over a decade and is an advocate for keeping our beaches and coastal wetlands pollution free.
In his spare time he enjoys taking Brazilian Jiu-jitsu (BJJ) and mixed martial arts (MMA) classes, traveling, surfing, competing in half and full marathons, and spending time with his 3-year old black lab “Zehn”. Brad is the new Argyle Men’s Adventure Boot Camp instructor and looks forward to assisting his clients attain all of their short and long-term goals.

He has fifteen certifications including massage therapy, plyometrics, self-defense, fitness kick boxing, fitness boxing, water fitness, exercise rehabilitation, golf conditioning, Pilates, personal training, clinical hypnotherapy, sports hypnosis, PACE circuit training and yoga. He holds a 2nd degree black belt in kung-fu, has completed the Ironman triathlon, and finished 5th at the U.S. National Biathlon Championships. His medical training includes a license in radiological technology, a medical assisting certification, and training in McKenzie rehabilitation. John was nominated for the California Community College Distinguished Alumni Award.
